How to modify stop-loss and take-profit in MT4

Follow the steps below to modify the stop-loss and/or take-profit levels on an open trade in MetaTrader 4.

1. Open your MT4 platform

Open your MT4 platform.

2. Go to the Terminal

Go to the Terminal at the bottom of the screen.

3. Click the Trade tab

Click on the Trade tab to view your open positions.

4. Right-click on the order

Right-click on the order you want to modify.

5. Select “Modify or Delete Order”

Select “Modify or Delete Order” from the context menu.

6. Enter your Stop-Loss and/or Take-Profit levels

Enter your desired Stop-Loss and/or Take-Profit price levels in the fields provided.

7. Click “Modify” to confirm

Click “Modify” to confirm and save your changes.
