How to close a trade on MT5

Follow the steps below to close an open trade on MetaTrader 5.

1. Open your MT5 platform

Open your MT5 platform.

2. Go to the Toolbox

Go to the Toolbox at the bottom of the screen.

3. Click the Trade tab

Click on the Trade tab to view your open positions.

4. Find the order you want to close

Find the order you want to close from your list of open positions.

5. Right-click and select “Close Order”

Right-click on the order and select “Close Order”.

6. Click “Close” in the order window

In the order window, click the “Close” button (yellow button) to confirm.

7. Trade closed successfully

Your trade will be closed and the result will appear in your balance.
