Through his 14 years in the industry, Scott has managed risk for a number of the world's biggest brokers, including IG and Pepperstone. Through Grexit, Brexit, the SNB peg abolishment, Trump’s election in 2016, he has been at the helm making markets and hedging exposures for world shaking events.
Over the years he has hosted podcasts with leading voices in the industry, and written articles for a number of news and analysis sites. Prior to joining the CFD sector, Scott was a financial analyst at an M&A firm in London. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Otago.
Scott predominantly undertakes macro analysis through a fundamental lens, digging into the real world events that are moving markets.
