Gordon Buchanan

Founder and CEO

Gordon founded Fintrix Markets with a clear conviction: that a brokerage should be defined by execution quality and financial strength, not marketing. His career spans senior leadership roles across regulated financial services, private equity and listed multinational institutions. As Chief Financial Officer at a leading forex and CFD broker, he saw first-hand how trader confidence is earned or lost through client money protection, the reliability of deposits and withdrawals, and the systems underpinning every trade. Gordon holds a BA in Accountancy and Finance from Heriot-Watt University, and is a chartered accountant.

Peter Spanos

Founder and Director

Peter brings over 20 years of brokerage risk experience, built progressively across some of the industry's most recognised names. From Market Making as a Senior Dealer at IG Group, through to creating the Market Risk department at Pepperstone as the Global Head of Market Risk, as well as being the Head of Risk & Product Development at GO Markets. He has operated inside large listed institutions, high-growth challengers, and specialist brokers, giving him a rare end-to-end view of how risk frameworks need to evolve as a business scales. His focus has remained consistent throughout: disciplined risk management that protects traders and brokerage operations alike, especially when markets are under stress.

Scott Redford

Founder and Director

Scott joined the CFD industry in 2013, going on to hold senior risk and dealing roles at two of the industry's most respected brokers - IG Group and Pepperstone. He has been appointed as Responsible Manager and Trading Representative on a range of financial services licenses, including ASIC. A genuine scholar of the markets, Scott takes a fundamentals-first approach to macro analysis, has hosted industry podcasts, and contributed to leading financial publications. He believes in treating clients with integrity at every turn and building long-term trusting relationships, rather than looking for quick wins. Prior to joining the CFD sector, he was a financial analyst at an M&A firm in London. Scott holds a BCom in Economics and a BA in French from the University of Otago.
